●“Wakamatsu Kampo Laxative” is a formulation based on the Chinese medicine prescription "Choijokito" which found in Chinese classic medical publications “Shokanron.”
●This medicine has a gentle and beneficial defecation effect on chronic and acute constipation.

Ingredients

The daily dose of 6 tablets (300 mg/tablet) contains 1,100 mg of Choijokito extract powder from the following mixed crude drugs;
Rhubarb 2.5 g, Glycyrrhiza 1.0 g, Anhydrous Sodium Sulfate 0.5 g.
As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Magnesium Stearate, Croscarmellose Sodium, Silicon Dioxide, Alpha-Starch and Cellulose.

(Precautions relating to Ingredients)
(1) The rhubarb contained in this medicine may make urine appear orange or red.
(2) Due to this medicine's use of extract from natural ingredients (crude drugs), there may be slight color variations between tablets.

Indications

Following symptoms in persons with moderate physical strength: Constipation, heavy head, hot flashes, eczema/dermatitis, pimple (acne), loss of appetite (anorexia), and fullness of abdomen associated with constipation, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids.

Dosage and administration

Take the following dosages 2 times a day with water or warm water before or between meals.
Adults (15 years and over) - 3 tablets
14 - 7 years - 2 tablets
7 - 5 years - 1 tablets
Less than 5 years - Do not use

1. This medicine should not be taken together with the following medicines:
Other cathartic agents.
2. Nursing women should either not take this medicine or stop nursing while taking this medicine.

(7) Persons diagnosed as having the following: Hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease.
