●“Kamishoyosan” is a herbal medicine listed in “Manbyokaishun” and consists of Shoyosan and crude drugs: moutan bark and gardenia fruit.
●This medicine is suitable for women with moderate or poor physical strength who get tired easily. It is effective in these people for menopausal disorders, chi-no-michi-sho, etc.

Ingredients

The daily dose of 12 tablets (380 mg/tablet) contains 2,460 mg of Kamishoyosan extract from the following mixed crude drugs;
Japanese Angelica Root 1.8 g, Peony Root 1.8 g, Atractylodes Rhizome 1.8 g, Poria Sclerotium 1.8 g, Bupleurum Root 1.8 g, Moutan Bark 1.2 g, Gardenia Fruit 1.2 g, Glycyrrhiza 0.9 g, Ginger 0.3 g, Mentha Herb 0.6 g. As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Croscarmellose sodium, Crospovidone, and Magnesium Stearate.

Due to this medicine's use of extract from natural ingredients (crude drugs), there may be slight color variations between tablets.
And due to the use of extract including crude drug essential oil components (components that produce a scent), there may be a scent characteristic of kampo (traditional Chinese medicine).

Indications

Following symptoms in persons with moderate or poor physical strength who get tired easily, suffered from flash feeling, shoulder stiffness and neuropsychiatric symptoms including anxiety and irritation, and sometimes experience a constipation tendency: Over-sensitiveness to cold, weak constitution, menstrual irregularity, dysmenorrhea, menopausal disorders, chi-no-michi-sho*, and insomnia.
*Chi-no-michi-sho is a generic term for neuropsychiatric symptoms such as anxiety and irritation, and physical symptoms due to fluctuation of female hormones caused by menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause.

Dosage and Administration

Take the following dosages 3 times a day with water or warm water before or between meals.
Adults (15 years and over) - 4 tablets /dose
14 - 7 years - 3 tablets /dose
7 - 5 years - 2 tablets /dose
Less than 5 years - Do not use

Hepatic function failure: Symptoms, such as fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of skin and white of eyes), brown urine, general malaise, loss of appetite, etc. may occur.
Mesenteric phlebosclerosis: Abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal distension, etc. may occur repeatedly with long-term oral administration.

Diarrhea
4. When symptoms do not improve even after taking the medicine for about 1 month, stop taking this medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist or registered salesperson, being sure to take this instruction leaflet with you.
