●“Kakkontokasenkyushin’i is a Japanese empirical herbal medicine consisting of “Kakkonto” and crude drugs: cnidium rhizome and magnolia flower, which is particularly used for the treatment of rhinitis, nasal congestion, and empyema.
●Allergy or viral infection due to an allergen, coldness, etc., causes congestion of the nasal mucosa, leading to symptoms such as nasal congestion. This medicine is effective for the treatment of such symptoms as well as chronic rhinitis caused by prolonged symptoms, and empyema.

Ingredients

The daily dose of 12 tablets (310 mg/tablet) contains 2,350 mg of Kakkontokasenkyushin’i extract from the following mixed crude drugs;
Pueraria Root 2.0 g, Ephedra Herb 2.0 g, Jujube 1.5 g, Cnidium Rhizome 1.5 g, Magnolia Flower 1.5 g, Cinnamon Bark 1.0 g, Peony Root 1.0 g, Glycyrrhiza 1.0 g, Ginger 0.5 g.
As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Hydroxypropylcellulose, Crospovidone, Croscarmellose sodium, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, and Cellulose.

Due to this medicine's use of extract from natural ingredients (crude drugs), there may be slight color variations between tablets.

Indications

Following symptoms in persons with moderate or more physical strength: Nasal congestion, empyema (sinusitis), and chronic rhinitis.

Dosage and administration

Take the following dosages 3 times a day with water or warm water before or between meals.
Adults (15 years and over) - 4 tablets
14 - 7 years - 3 tablets
7 - 5 years - 2 tablets
Less than 5 years - Do not use

Precautions for use

Consultation

(9) Persons diagnosed as having the following: Hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, thyroid disease.
