●“Tokakujokito” is a major anti-Oketsu Kampo formula. This medicine in used in healthy people who often have constipation, severe hot flashes, and whose feet and lower back get cold easily.
●This medicine is suitable for people with moderate or more physical strength who look flushed and often have constipation. It is effective in these people for menstrual irregularity, menstrual pain, anxiety during menstruation or after childbirth, constipation, and lower back pain.

Ingredients

The daily dose of 3 packets (1.2 g/packet) contains 1,250 mg of Tokakujokito extract from the following mixed crude drugs;
Peach Kernel 2.5 g, Cinnamon Bark 2.0 g, Rhubarb 1.5 g, Glycyrrhiza 0.75 g, Anhydrous Sodium Sulfate 0.5 g.
As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Hydroxypropylcellulose, Lactose, and Polyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene Glycol.

Due to this medicine's use of extract from natural ingredients (crude drugs), there may be slight color variations between granules.

Indications

Following symptoms in persons with moderate or more physical strength who have hot flashes and a tendency of constipation: Menstrual irregularity, dysmenorrhea, menstrual pain, anxiety during menstruation or after childbirth, lower back pain, constipation, accessory symptoms of hypertension (headache, dizziness, stiff shoulder), hemorrhoid, and contusion.

Dosage and administration

Take the following dosages 3 times a day with water or warm water before or between meals.
Adults (15 years and over) - 1 packet
14 - 7 years - 2/3 packet
Less than 2 years - Do not use

Precautions for use

When not to use the product

1. This medicine should not be taken together with the following medicines:

2. Nursing women should either not take this medicine or stop nursing while taking this medicine.

Consultation
1. The following persons should contact a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson for a consultation before administration.
(1) Patients undergoing medical treatment from a physician.
(2) Pregnant women or women suspected of being pregnant.
(3) Persons who is physically weak (declining of physical strength or constitutional weakness).
(4) Persons with weak stomach and intestine who have a tendency to diarrhea, diarrhea with severe abdominal pain.
(5) Patients who have experienced rash/redness, itching, etc. with drugs, etc.
2. If the following symptoms are observed after taking this drug, these may be adverse reactions, so immediately discontinue the use of this drug, and show this document to your physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson for a consultation.

4. When symptoms do not improve even after taking the medicine for about 1 month (for about 5 - 6 days if you take this medicine for constipation), stop taking this medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist or registered salesperson, being sure to take this instruction leaflet with you.
5. When unanticipated bleeding occurs while taking this medicine, stop taking the medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist or registered salesperson, being sure to take this instruction leaflet with you.
