●“Hachimijiogan” is a prescription found in a Chinese classic medical publication “Kinkiyoryaku.”
● It is effective for frequent urination, and difficulty with urination, blurred eye in elderly, pain in the legs.

Ingredients

The daily dose of 12 tablets (370 mg/tablet) contains 2,600 mg of Hachimijiogan extract from the following mixed crude drugs;
Rehmannia Root 2.5 g, Cornus Fruit 1.5 g, Dioscorea Rhizome 1.5 g, Alisma Tuber 1.5 g, Poria Sclerotium 1.5 g, Moutan Bark 1.5 g, Cinnamon Bark 0.5 g, Processed Aconite Root powder 0.5 g.
As inactive ingredients, this medicine contains Hydroxypropylcellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Crospovidone, and Magnesium Stearate.

Due to this medicine's use of extract from natural ingredients (crude drugs), there may be slight color variations between tablets.

Indications

Following symptoms in persons with moderate or poor physical strength who tend to get tired easily, tend to be sensitive to cold in hands and feet, have decreased or increased urine volume, and/or sometimes have dry mouth: Leg pain, lower back pain, numbness, blurred eyes in the elderly, itching, difficulty in urination, residual urine, nocturia, frequent urination, edema, associated symptoms of hypertension (stiff shoulder, heavy head, tinnitus), and mild incontinence.

Dosage and administration

Take the following dosages 3 times a day with water or warm water before or between meals.
Adults (15 years and over) - 4 tablets
14 - 7 years - 3 tablets
Less than 7 years - Do not use

When allowing children to take the medicine, a guardian must be present to watch and tell such them how to take it.

Precautions for use

When not to use the product

This product should not be taken in the following persons.
(1) Persons who have gastrointestinal weakness.
(2) Persons who have a tendency to diarrhea.

Consultation
1. The following persons should contact a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson for a consultation before administration.
(1) Patients undergoing medical treatment from a physician.
(2) Pregnant women or women suspected of being pregnant.
(3) Red faced persons with hot flashes who have fulfilling physical performance.
(4) Patients who have experienced rash/redness, itching, etc. with drugs, etc.
2. If the following symptoms are observed after taking this drug, these may be adverse reactions, so immediately discontinue the use of this drug, and show this document to your physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson for a consultation.
Affected areas: Symptoms
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
Gastrointestinal system: Loss of appetite, feeling of discomfort in the stomach, abdominal pain
Other: Palpitations, hot flush, numbness of lip or tongue
3. The following symptoms may be observed after taking this drug. If these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue the use of this drug, and show this document to your physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson for a consultation.
Diarrhea
4. When symptoms do not improve even after taking the medicine for about 1 month, stop taking this medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist or registered salesperson, being sure to take this instruction leaflet with you.
